Using the byproduct of melted ice, rain and snow from the Olfus Spring, Icelandic Glacial is a spring water that has had the opportunity to be naturally filtered through layers of volcanic rock. That means through a combination of high levels of alkalinity and pH balance, the consumer enjoys a fresh water that hits the spot. Throw in the fact that the low amount of minerals come through natural means and you have the makings of as pure a water as you can find. This is the case for every bottle of Icelandic Glacial, with rigorous quality control checks being in place and the water never exposed to air. At minimum, these checks are at the level accepted by the Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization and often exceed their requirements. Even more protection is offered through frequent inspection of both the source and the bottling plant.
